Change it in SettingsA cleaner sees your whole disk. MarkClean keeps what it sees on your Mac. No analytics, no crash reports, no account.
Scans and cleanup never need the internet. With Lifetime Pro, MarkClean confirms the licence with Dodo Payments about once a day, sending only the key and this Mac's activation, and keeps working offline for up to 30 days. It also goes online when you ask Homebrew for app updates. No telemetry.
No red counters or "your Mac is at risk". It shows neutral facts and lets you decide.
It doesn't claim to boost RAM, speed up your Mac or free purgeable space. macOS manages those itself.
Every location MarkClean scans, by category. Search for a folder, app or tool to see if it's covered. ~ is your home folder.
12 categories, plus purgeable space for reference.
Cleanup from these categories is permanent. Uninstalls, leftovers and duplicates use the Trash instead. Exclusions you set also apply to scheduled cleaning.
See everything MarkClean finds for free. When you're ready to clean, Lifetime Pro is one payment, with no subscription.
One-time payment, not a subscription. Lifetime access to MarkClean's Pro features. ₹499 + GST (18%) in India; elsewhere $5 USD + applicable taxes. Up to 3. To move the licence to a new Mac, open Settings → Licence → Deactivate This Mac on the old one first. If that Mac is gone, email info@slashmark.in and we'll free its place.
After reinstalling on the same Mac, choose Restore Licence: the activation is kept in your Keychain. Your key is also in the email from Dodo Payments. Can't find it? Email info@slashmark.in from the address you paid with.
No. MarkClean Lifetime Pro is non-refundable once your licence key is delivered, because the key is digital and arrives instantly. The free version shows exactly what MarkClean finds on your Mac, so please try a scan before you buy. We only refund a duplicate charge, a payment that never produced a key we can fix, an unauthorised payment, or where the law requires it. See the Refund Policy.
Once, to activate the key. After that MarkClean confirms it with Dodo Payments about once a day when you're online, and keeps Pro working offline for up to 30 days since the last check. Keys refunded under the Refund Policy, or charged back, are disabled by Dodo and stop working at the next check.
The build isn't notarized by Apple yet. Right-click the app in Applications and choose Open, or after the first try open System Settings → Privacy & Security and click Open Anyway.
macOS hides Mail downloads, Safari data and protected app containers from every app. Without access MarkClean still works, but some categories and leftover searches are incomplete. It reads these places only to measure and list them.
Category cleanup, scheduled cleaning, emptying the Trash, and Docker or simulator cleanup remove files permanently. Uninstalling an app, removing leftovers and removing duplicates move files to the Trash, so you can still put them back.
Purgeable space is reserved and released by macOS itself when space runs low. No app can reliably free it, so MarkClean shows it for reference and never lists it as junk.
Turn it on in Settings, choose an interval from hourly to monthly and set a minimum size. Scheduled runs clean without asking, and they respect your exclusions.
Turn off scheduled cleaning and the menu bar meters in Settings, quit the app, and drag MarkClean from Applications to the Trash.
